Gemini’s Deep Research feature only seems to be available with the 1.5pro model (vs the newest 2.0 models)…I do like the fact that it lets you edit the “plan” before it starts the research, plus of course being able to export to Google Docs is extremely convenient.

Perplexity is a great Swiss Knife type tool when it comes to AI assisted search, and having the ability to run a few free enhanced searches a day plus easy exports into PDF and markup are pretty nifty!
